Video Free Brooklyn covers movies, streaming, TV, celebrity news and Brooklyn cinema. We collect as little about our readers as we can. This page explains the small amount of data that passes through the site, who handles it and why.
What we do not collect
The site has no user accounts, no comments, no forms and no newsletter. We run no analytics and no advertising. We set no cookies of our own.
We do not build profiles of readers. We do not track you across other websites. We do not record what you read for marketing.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. To do that, it processes your IP address when you visit.
Cloudflare may also set a strictly necessary security cookie. This cookie helps protect the site. We do not use it to track readers.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard logs. Each entry records an IP address, the browser used, the page requested and the time of the request.
We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting, such as spotting an attack or fixing a page that will not load. We keep them for up to 14 days and then delete them.
Film images and links to other sites
Film posters and other images on the site load from The Movie Database (TMDB). When your browser loads those images, TMDB’s servers receive your IP address. TMDB’s own privacy policy covers that.
Our pages also link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them.
You can write to us at any of these addresses:
If you email us, we use your message and your email address only to reply and to handle your request. We delete them when we no longer need them.
We do not sell or share personal data.
Asking about your data
You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected].
Because the site collects so little, this will usually mean emails you have sent us and any server log entries from the last 14 days.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and show the date of the change here.
